A joint patrol of Turkish intelligence and its civilian police militias arrested three Kurds in the village of Kafar Safra in Jindires district, on charges of going on night watch during the Autonomous Administration period in Afrin, northern Syria.
According to our own sources, the arrested citizens are namely:
1- The lawyer Muhammad Nuri Khalil, 35 yrears old, from the “Nabani” family, knowing that he was previously arrested three times by the Turkish authorities.
2- The citizen Hannan Alloush Sheikho, 32 years old, from the “Sheikhki” family, and he is arrested for the fifth time.
3- The citizen Khalil Ahmed Issa, 33 years old, from the “Kormo” family, is married with 4 children and was previously arrested on the same charge three times.
It uis worth mentioning that more than 80 citizens were arrested in Afrin last March, bringing the total number to about two hundred male and female detainees since the beginning of 2022.
