The Turkish Court in Afrin sentenced a Kurdish man to three years in prison on charges of belonging to the People’s Protection Units (YPG) during the Autonomous Administration period in the occupied region of Afrin.
Our reporter stated that the Afrin Court issued a three-year prison sentence to the citizen “Ragheb Ahmed Alo” on charges of belonging to the People’s Protection Units and participating in hostilities during the former Autonomous Administration.
It is worth mentioning that the citizen, “Ragheb Ahmed Alo,” from the village of Diki in Bulbul district, was arrested by the Turkish-backed “Syrian Front” militia, in July 2021, and handed over to the Turkish intelligence, which kept him in Marate Central Prison in Afrin.
