TSO’s militias arrest 3 Kurdish citizens in Baadina and Guliyan villages

The extortion of Kurdish citizens in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin continues, under penalty of filing firm charges, arresting or kidnapping them.

In this context, a joint patrol of the Turkish intelligence and the “military police” arrested yesterday, Wednesday afternoon, the 35-year-old citizen Othman Khalil Jarji, from his home in the town of Baadina – Rajo sub-district, on charges of dealing with the former Autonomous Administration of North and East of Syria.

On the other hand, the Turkish-backed “Al-Hamzah” militia kidnapped Kurdish elderly people from their homes in the village of Guliyan Tahtani, in Rajo sub-district and took them to an unknown destination.

According to local sources, both (Khalil Ibrahim Bilal, 65 years old and Mustafa Muhammad Youssef, 60 years old) were kidnapped by al-Hamzah militia, who asked their families for a ransom of 600 US dollars for their release.

The militants of “Al-Hamzat” militia had earlier kidnapped the Kurdish citizen Ali Muhammad Aref Hamza, from the village of “Guliyan Tahtani” and residing in the center of “Rajo” sub-district. He was detained for ten days, during which he was subjected to the worst forms of torture, and was taken to Afrin Central Prison in the village of Maarateh, and the gunmen demanded his family a large ransom of money in exchange for his release.
