Kurdish citizen kidnapped for ransom in Afrin

Our reporter stated that gunmen from the Turkish-backed “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia kidnapped the Kurdish citizen Khaled Salah Sheikh Mouss, from the village of Qastal Kishk, on Saturday, 06/26/2021, on the new Autostrad Street in the occupied city of Afrin.

The reporter added that the citizen Salah was handed over to the military police militia, and his father was demanded to pay a ransom of three thousand dollars. The charge against the citizen Salah is nothing but his good financial condition. The reason which leads the militants in Afrin to extort and collect ransoms from the citizens.

It is reported that Khaled is sick and suffers from tuberculosis, a disease that threatens with dangerous complications if he does not undergo treatment, and it is transmitted by infection.

The militia had kidnapped his father, Salah Sheikh Mouss, about a year ago, and released him after he paid a ransom of three thousand US dollars.
