“al-Hamza Division” kidnaps 7 Kurds from Burj Abdalo village and releases them for a large ransom

Today, Saturday, our sources reported that the village of Burj Abdalo in the southern countryside of Afrin witnessed, during the last week of last April, the kidnapping of a number of Kurdish citizens with the aim of blackmailing their families and demanding a ransom.

The sources pointed out that Abdo Othman, a leader in the pro-Turkey “al-Hamza Division” militia, had imposed a curfew in the village of Burj Abdalo and kidnapped civilians to be released in exchange for a large ransom.

Our correspondent managed to document the names of some citizens who were kidnapped, namely: (Muhammad Kamal – Ahmed Sido – Sadiq Othman – Adel Hassan – Nihad Hamid Kalaho – Hazem Hamid Kalaho – Imad Hamid Kalaho). Adding that they were kidnapped on charges of dealing with the Autonomous Administration to be released after paying a large ransom, ranging from $ 6,000 to $ 8,000.
