TSO checkpoints tighten their grip on citizens of Afrin and extort them on a daily basis

“The security checkpoints of the Turkish-backed militias are tightening the grip on the people on a daily basis, and they are known to publicly steal goods from the people. If the passerby carries goods, the checkpoint must take part of it, and if he does not have anything with, he is forced to pay a cash bill to the militants.” Our correspondent stated.

The most known checkpoints are:

1- Aranda village checkpoint /”Al-Amshat” militia.
2- Shekhutka Village Checkpoint / Jaish al-Nukhba.
3- Bulbul and its villages checkpoints / Jaish al-Nukhba, Suqour al-Sham, and Faylaq al-Sham.
4- Mobata / Maabatli checkpoint/ Ahrar al-Sharqiya.
5- Khalilaka village checkpoint/ Suquor al-Sham militia robs vegetables on a daily basis from Ibrahim Muhammad, who works in transporting vegetables to Afrin.

6-Zaare village checkpoint/ Suqour al-Sham takes over part of the vegetables from the citizen Hamze Zaare, under the pretext of helping the militants.

7- Dike village checkpoint / “Faylaq Majd” militia imposes 30 Turkish liras on the citizen Hamoude Farah. “If Hamoude passes in the morning they take from him the right to breakfast, and if he passes in the evening they take from him the right to lunch,” The correspondent added.
