The Turkish occupation forces and the Islamic militias affiliated with them shelled, today, Tuesday, the villages of Maraanaz and Al-Alqamiye, in Sharran district, in the eastern countryside of Afrin region. According to Afrinpost correspondent in the region.
The correspondent stated that about 7 artillery and missile shells fell on the two villages, without any news of casualties.
The Turkish bombing coincides with the eve of the third anniversary of the beginning of the Turkish aggression on Afrin region, on January 20.
On the other hand, the center of the occupied Kurdish region is witnessing since this morning a great security alert by the Turkish occupation army and its Islamic militias, which are spreading densely in the streets of the city.
According to the Afrinpost correspondent inside the city, panzer tanks and military armored vehicles of the occupation army are deployed at the entrances to the city, as well as the security checkpoints of Islamic militias inside the city, especially in Nowruz roundabout area.
The correspondent added that since yesterday, the occupation forces have prevented large trucks from entering the city, in anticipation of any emergency, as the occupation of the Kurdish region enters its fourth year.
