The Turkish occupation authorities are building three housing complexes on the border strip located in Sheikh Al-Hadid district in Afrin countryside, in the area between the village of Chaqala up to the Shadia / Rajo Plain, to attract more settlers to be brought from Idlib governorate and reside there.
According to information received by “afrinpost“, the occupation authorities began about a month ago with the opening of a block factory in the plain of Aranda village in an area called “Lêçê Dûbirê Dînik”, which extends over a distance of 3 square kilometers between the village of Qarmitlik and Chaqala. Also, heavy machinery of bulldozers and others were brought to the site, and the work of bulldozing the soil and leveling the land began, as well as a dirt road from the site to the road linking the village of Chaqala and Shieh, and it is planned to house 300 families of the dead mercenary families of “Al-Amashat” militia who were killed in the Libyan battles .
As for the other two housing complexes, according to leaks, one of them will be built in the “Lêçê Tofê” area on the plain of the village of Senare adjacent to the Turkish border, and the other will be built in the “Lêçê Şediya” area on the plain of the village of Shadia.
The information also stated that the project began about a month ago, but is currently suspended for mysterious reasons, and it is said that the stopping of the project came on Turkish orders, noting that Al-Amshat militia is the one that implements the project.
