afrinpost – Special
afrinpost learned from its sources today that the Turkish occupation army raided, by dozens of military vehicles, the village of Ikidam, of Sharran district, and arrested a number of members of “Sultan Murad” militia, while the militia leader called “Abu Yazan” fled the village, after a report published by afrinpost about his imposing large financial royalties on the villagers.
The sources reported that the Turkish soldiers met with the residents in the village square, and inquired about the grievances they face, noting that the Turkish officers promised to restore the rights stolen to them, but nothing has been achieved until today.
The sources added that the Turkish occupation army sent a new armed group from the same militia to the village, while the destination of the so-called “Abu Yazan”, who had been burdening the residents of the village of Ikidam for three years was not known.
Whereas, a resident of the village told “afrinpost” that the main reason for the occupation soldiers launched this campaign against “Abu Yazan” and his elements was due to his carrying out large-scale smuggling activities across the border, starting from that border village, expressing the story of stirring grievances against the villagers. Saying that the story of raising the grievances of the villagers is not essential, as they oversee all the crimes and violations that occur under their orders in the occupied Kurdish region.
The “Sultan Murad” militia of the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood organization imposed a financial royalty of “200 US dollars” on each family from the village of Ikidam – Sharan district, at the beginning of this month, on pain of seizing the vehicles or property and expelling them from the village.
