The afrinpost correspondent reported that the “Jaish al-Nukhbah/ Elite Army” militia gunmen are forcing men from the villages of (Shekhoutka, Amara, Omer Smo, Zaitunak, Kurdo, Aboudan, and Medanki) to attend the mosque and pray, whether on Friday or prayers at their daily times, and they describe the people of these Villages as pigs and infidels. Whoever refuses to go to the mosque, and whoever does not learn, prison is his fate. These measures have been implemented five days ago.
In the village of Shekhoutka, the armed men of the “al-Nukhbah/ elite” militia called on the people through the loudspeaker of the village mosque and asked them to meet in the village square on the order of the leader in the village, called “Abu Nasr”, to issue them with a prayer order, describing the people of Afrin as “infidels and pigs” and said: “We came to you to guide you.” To the path of righteousness, and in the event that you abstain from prayer, we will use force with you.
It is noteworthy that the so-called “Abu Nasr”, the leader of the “elite” militia in the village of Amara, comes from the Al-Ghab Plain, as well as most of his armed men from the countryside of Hama. As for the imam of the mosque, he is from the Al-Hader neighborhood in the city of Hama, Known to be the incubator of the Muslim Brotherhood organization in the eighties and armed in the militia, but he has a physical disability due to his injury during the battles in which he participated, and it seems that he has finished fighting to marry, as he has been married to date seven times and divorced four women, and he has a brother who is a prominent member of Jabhat al-Nusra.
In the context of spreading the extremist religious ideology, local sources from inside Afrin reported that the Turkish Religion Endowment and the Directorate of Fatwa, Endowments and Religious Affairs in Afrin opened a mosque in the village of “Pitete” in the countryside of Afrin named “Al-Huda Mosque”. The source added that the opening ceremony was attended by Muhammad Sheikh Rashid, deputy head of the so-called local council of Afrin, Irfan Ajiq, general coordinator of the so-called Olive Branch, and the Mufti of Afrin, according to the Human Rights Organization – Afrin.
The mosque was established on 12/1/2020 by the Turkish Religious Endowment at the expense of the so-called Haji Muayad Nassiboglu Abu Ilyas, a Turkish national.
