The Turkish occupation militias launched new arrest campaigns, targeting ten Kurdish citizens in the villages of Amara- Maabatli and Baadina- Raju, under the pretext of working for the former Autonomous Administration, with the aim of financial extortion, as part of a plan drawn up by the Turkish occupation authorities seeking to expel the Kurdish population in favor for the settlers loyal to them.
According to Afrinpost correspondent, the “Military Police” militia accompanied by armed men from the “Jaish al-Nukhba” in the village of Amara / Maabatli, last Thursday, 11/12/2020, arrested 4 Kurdish citizens, who are (Ali Mustafa – Hannan Mustafa – Mustafa Hanif – Hanif Ibrahim) and took them to its headquarters in the district center.
For its part, the “al-Shamiya Front” militia released a number of Kurdish citizens, who were kidnapped at separate times in the town of Mobata / Maabatli, in exchange for a ransom of 1,000 Turkish liras, and 3 names were documented among them, they are: Rashid Qasim and Muhammad Ali Naasan Rami Ibrahim)
On the other hand, al-Shamiya Front faction of the Turkish occupation released today a number of citizens of Mobata district after paying a sum of money by their families, for each person 1000 Turkish liras.
On the eighth of November, the town of Baadina-Raju witnessed an arrest campaign against six Kurdish citizens of the village, noting that the campaign continues and there is a list of names of other wanted persons.
The names of the six detainees were documented, and they are:
1- Asaad Ibrahim Mannan
2- Khalil Haider Jaafar
3- Rustem Mustafa Kajj
4- Mustafa Muhammad Ibish
5- Ahmed Aref Ibish
6- Hassan Aref Osman
According to available information, the occupation authorities released four citizens, among them, after forcing them to pay 1,000 Turkish liras under the banner of the financial fine (the ransom), while they transferred (Ahmed Aref Ibish and Hassan Aref Osman) to the Marateh Central Prison.
