Afrinpost – Special
The occupied Kurdish region of Afrin in northern Syria, witnesses a case of security chaos by the Turkish occupation army and Islamic militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, where cases of gang fighting and explosions are repeated periodically.
In this context, the correspondent of “Afrinpost” in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, reported that violent clashes took place yesterday, Wednesday, between two groups of the militia of “Jaish Al-Sharqiya”.
He explained that the confrontations led to the martyrdom of the elderly Kurdish citizen “Sabiha Sido Sadeq”, from the village of “Dargireh”, killed by gunshot. A taxi driver and a child were also wounded. The martyr “Sabihah” is the wife of “Muhammad Omar Abdo” from the village of Kherabe Shara.
The clashes took place near the “Afrin Hospital” previously, in which light and medium weapons and RPGs were used, the exact reasons for the clash were not known, but it is likely that it was fighting over the right of any of the gunmen to seize the property of the displaced Afrin residents.
Violations and clashes among the Muslim Brotherhood militias, which call themselves the “Syrian National Army / Free Army”, are frequent, and are often the result of conflict, disputes over stolen property, and seizure of real estate and may occur between militia members themselves, or because of competition for the spheres of influence in the city.
