100 olive trees uprooted in Bulbul by pro-Turkey militant

Afrinpost – Special

Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood recently uprooted 100 olive trees in a field belonging to the Kurdish citizen “Abd al-Rahman Subhi Brimo” known as “Mr. Mamo”, despite his presence in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin in northern Syria.

The Afrinpost correspondent in the district confirmed that “Mr. Mamo” tried to prevent them from completing the process of cutting down his trees, but that the militants expelled him from the field, and they continued to cut, accusing him of loyalty to the “Syrian Democratic Forces”, a pretext that militants have always been invoking to abuse Kurdish citizens, confiscate their property, kidnap their children, and obtain financial ransom for the kidnapped.

The occupied Kurdish region is witnessing continuous cutting of forest trees and perennial olive trees by Islamic militia militants and their settlers ’families.

Afrin has also witnessed, since the Turkish occupation on March 18, 2018, the burning of thousands of forest trees, olive trees, etc., by Islamic militias in the mountains of the region, on the pretext that there are “People’s Protection Units” cells hiding there.
