The reporter indicated that the militants looted the money with several excuses, the first of which is that fishing is prohibited in the lake and that they have poisoned the lake and that all fish were killed, and the second is according to one of the gunmen, that the Kurds come to the lake and commit suicide, then hold the militias the responsibility (as he claimed).
The correspondent added that the Kurdish fisherman went to Maidanki Lake with the aim of fishing, and the two militants stopped him at the lake and told him that he should go with them to the headquarters, then deliberately interrogated the man, which made him to pay them $ 500 in exchange for releasing him.
