The “Failaq Al-Sham” militia members, who killed the Kurdish shepherd, Taher Habash, “mentally handicapped” , are still violating the remaining indigenous people in the village of Dikeh with impunity.
How was the crime committed against Taher?
Kurdish youth Taher Muhammad Habash, 39 years old, refused to leave his village, as were many villagers, while he was tending his herd in the end of March 2018, in “Mount Hawar” located near the junction of “Sheikh” village alongside other herders, gunmen from Failaq Al-Sham militia arrived in the area, and started firing bullets in the air, causing panic in the hearts of the shepherds, and Taher, who was suffering from a mental disability, tried to escape, so one of the gunmen fired him at close range and killed him with cold blood.
According to the sources of the “Afrinpost”, his brothers (Farid and Salah) filed a complaint at a military point belonging to the Turkish occupation army in the village “Cheh/ Jabaliya”, but the occupation soldiers did not move a finger.
Shortly afterwards, a patrol from the “Failaq Al-Sham” militia coming from the village of “Meydan Akbas/ Rajo” kidnapped Farid Habash and his brother Salah Habash, and they were taken to the militia prison in “Maydan Akbas” where they spent in that kidnapping center for about a month and a half, where they suffered various forms of psychological and physical torture, due to their filing a complaint against the militia to Turkish soldiers.
The militia then seized a Hyundai truck from their home in the village, and the militia stole all the household items of Farid Habash’s house in the village during his kidnapping with his brother.
The militia released the two brothers (Farid and Salah) after forcing them to pay 500 thousand Syrian pounds, provided that they would not again raise the case of the murder of their brother, “Taher”.
In the same context, a recently discovered crime, is the one of killing the Kurdish young man, “Kamal Muhammad Ali,” who is a resident of “Al-Ghazawiyya” village of Sherawa district.
Where the young man was staying with his family in the nearby village of “Burj Abdalo”, because they had property there, in late May 2018, he was with another man from Saraqib in Idlib governorate, who was working with the family, while working to irrigate lands at night. The tow men were badly beaten, tortured and killed by armed militia.
The news was not get out or published on the social media sites at the time, fearing that the family would face other crimes, as the crime remained forgotten and recorded against an unknown person, as are all crimes committed by the occupation militants and the Muslim Brotherhood organization, known as the “Syrian National Army / Free Army”.
