“Failaq Al-Sham” militia asks for a ransom from students wanted to travel from Afrin to Aleppo

Afrinpost correspondent learned in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, north of Syria, that the Islamic militias occupying the village of “Ghazawiyeh” in the Shirawa district, have returned nearly 20 students, today, Wednesday, they were going to Aleppo to take the secondary exams ( The baccalaureate) there.

The Afrinpost correspondent said: “Failaq Al-Sham” militia checkpoint stopped the students in the village of Ghazawiya, and each student was asked to pay $ 400, or to return to their homes.” He continued, “so all the students returned.”

The gunmen thus made these male and female students waste an entire academic year, by depriving them of taking examinations to obtain a recognized certificate, as their efforts went to waste.

In light of the significant rise in the exchange rates of the Syrian currency against the dollar, which varies from day to day, and finally, today, Wednesday, reached 3000 Syrian pounds, the “ransom of knowledge” that the militia of the “Failaq AL-Sham” militia affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood organization required each student to pay one million two hundred thousand Syrian pounds, to allow them to go to Aleppo.
