Despite all the international calls for deterring the Islamic militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood and the Turkish occupation, to stop the violations committed by them against the residents of the regions of northern Syria, the actions of these militias did not stop, which prompted the residents to break the barrier of fear and protest against them.
Dozens of people in the villages of Bab al-Khair, Jan Tamr and Umm Ashba in the eastern countryside of “Serekaniye / Ras al-Ain” located in the areas under the control of the Turkish occupation and its militias, went out in a demonstration yesterday, Monday, against the practices of militants, which are assaulting citizens and stealing agricultural crops and burning them, but the militias elements soot the people to disperse the gatherings, causing two injuries of varying degrees, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Those militias continue to violate the rights of the residents, as they collect what they called “zakat” from the farmers, and confiscate the crop from those who do not have formal proof of ownership of the land. They also confiscated 15 tons of wheat in the village of Jarady in the countryside of Serekaniye / Ras al-Ain, which belong to one of the peasants.
