As a result of their disputes, Islamic militia militants affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood on the one hand, and some settlers who were brought by the Turkish occupation to settle in Afrin after the displacement of the indigenous Kurdish people on the other hand, confrontations and conflicts occur.
In the context, “Afrinpost” learned of an attack on a ramadan drummer on Thursday, by gunmen from the “Ahrar al-Sharqiya militia” in the al-Markaz al-Thaqafi neighborhood in the center of the occupied Afrin region, because of the noise he causes.
The reporter stated that the militia gunmen hit the settler drummer, called “Abu Al-Fadl”, in the vicinity of the Culture and Art Center, and destroyed his drum on his head because he disturbed the militants and woke them from sleep!
