Afrinpost – Special
The Kurdish citizen, Mohammed Ezzat Chilo, 54 years old, died on Saturday, May 2, by burning his car parked in his house in the village of Sariya of the Mobata / Ma’batli district.
People familiar with him told the Afrinpost that a severe family dispute had arisen among members of the Chilo family, so Muhammad poured petrol on his car parked in his yard, sitting inside it, and then setting fire to the car, which led to his death.
However, local activists did not exclude other assumptions, accusing the Turkish occupation militia of killing him by burning his car.
The Afrinpost was unable to acquire a reliable account of the fact that the fifty-year-old “Chilo” committed suicide or not, while his family insist to repeat this above-mentioned account.
Islamic militias usually force the victim’s families to reveal specific accounts at gunpoint to mislead the public opinion, ensuring that they refrain from the crimes they commit against the remaining indigenous Kurdish people.
