The “Afrinpost” learned from its sources that the Turkish occupation had taken down its flag from a school in the Kurdish region of Afrin, in preparation for handing it over to the Russian military police, according to understandings between the two parties.
The sources confirmed that the Turkish occupation army (commandos) stationed in the school (Faisal Kaddour) located at the southern entrance to the city, which connects with Jandiris district road, took down the Turkish flag from the building, in preparation for its evacuation and handing it over to the Russian military police.
And that point will be a second, in the center of the region, in addition to the point of the camp “Kafar Jannah”, which indicates the imminent implementation of the agreed items between the Turkish occupation and the Russian side regarding the issue of occupied Afrin.
The sources added that Turkish soldiers visited the headquarters of Afrin Water Company, and asked its management to empty it and move to the water resources building, to be replaced by Turkish intelligence, which will evacuate the Afrin Azhar School for the benefit of the Russian military police (where the Afrin Azhar School will be the first point).
It is known that Russia had the most prominent role when it ceced Afrin to the Turkish occupation within the Astana meetings with Turkey, in exchange for the evacuation of areas in the countryside of Damascus, Homs, Hama and Idlib from the Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood.
