On Friday, the military police of the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood launched a raid on the homes of residents in the village of Karzila / Qurzahil, in the Sherawa district of the countryside of Afrin.

25, Bakr Hanan Awash, 63, and Nouri Shukri Awash, 60. Kahraman, a resident of the city of Afrin, told Afrinpost reporter that the aim of mass or individual abductions against Kurdish civilians in Afrin is to extort their families and raise money in all possible ways.
He pointed out that the kidnapping takes place after charges have been prepared in advance, such as working with the Self-Administration or work within its former institutions, where the militia of “Military Police” imposes financial ransom ranging from 150 to 250 thousand on each person kidnapped.
One year and seven months after the Turkish military occupation, the people of Afrin continue to appeal to the SDF and the International Coalition for the liberation of the Kurdish region of Afrin from the claws of Islamic militias and their masters in Ankara.
