The local council of the Turkish occupation in the Kurdish region of Afrin announced its support for the Turkish invasion of northern Syria, describing it as liberating the areas from “terrorist organizations” in reference to the “Syrian Democratic Forces.”
The local council published its position through an official statement to support the invasion of the Turkish occupation army and Islamic militias, stating that they support the military operation that will secure a safe return to the population (as described), pointing out to stand by Islamic militias and bless their sacrifices to (liberate) Syrian territory.
