“Afrin Liberation Forces” strike 15 gunmen from the militia “Liwa Waqas” in Marea between dead and wounded

Fifteen armed Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood were killed and wounded near the city of Marea in the northern countryside of Aleppo after an attack by the Afrin Liberation Forces fighters on Thursday.

Local sources from Al-Shahba said that the fighters of “Afrin Liberation” carried out a rocket attack on military points in Twis front east of Marea city this morning, killing six gunmen from the militia “Liwa Waqas”, and wounded nine others, including serious cases, were transferred afterwards to the hospitals of the Turkish occupation entity.

In a related context, the Turkish occupation forces and Islamic militias targeted the vicinity of Marnaz and Mengh military airport on Wednesday evening, without reports of casualties in the region.

On Friday, six people were injured as a result of renewed artillery shelling by the Turkish occupation forces on Sheikh Issa village in Shahba area, wounding several people, all from the same family.

It is worth mentioning that the areas of Shahba and the villages of Sherawa are witnessing continuous shelling by the Turkish occupation forces and the Islamic militias, which are crowded with forcibly displaced people from Afrin, of the native Kurdish population.
