A human rights organization declared on Sunday, February 10, that the Islamic militias of the Turkish occupation, kidnapped two Kurdish citizens in the Kurdish region of Afrin/Rojava.
The human rights organization in Afrin stated that a group of gunmen belonging to the “Mahmoud al-Khair”, a leader of the”Military emergency brigade /security crossing” of Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya militia” abducted on 08.02.2019 citizens of the village “Dicmadashe” affiliated with “Shara/Şera” and take them to an unknown destination. The kidnapped citizens were Khalil Anwar Hassan, who owns minimarkt, and Qanbar Mohammed Ahmed, who works as a mechanic for repairing tractors.
The organization explained that the kidnapping was carried out under false pretexts, as they demanded the settlers and the armed with their debts.
The organization also indicated that since the establishment of the headquarters of the Shaiitat community of Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya militias, the acts of looting and theft of olive trees, the doors and windows of the houses, and Infringement on the sanctity of houses and cutting of the trees in and out of Decmdash village have increased.
The organization emphasized that one of the settlers exploded a sound bomb in order to intimidate the citizens, and said that settlers aim to threaten the Kurds with Islamic militants if they claim their rights.
