According to our correspondent, the “Hamza Division,” led by Seif Abu Bakr, began harvesting olives today using its own labor crews in the fields of absent and displaced landowners in the village of Korka, located in the Jindires sub-district and its surroundings. The militia did not contribute any funds for agricultural services that had been provided over the past two years.
The source explained that the Hamza Division nullified the legal representation for properties owned by absent villagers, which previously allowed relatives in the village to manage the fields. In return, these relatives paid a percentage of the harvest as a levy. However, this year, through this method, the Hamza Division has fully seized the fields and their harvest.
