Our correspondent reported that on Thursday, October 24, the “Military Police” militia detained Mohammad Nazmi Hamid, born in 1983, a resident of the Al-Mahmoudiyah neighborhood in Afrin city and originally from the village of Tell Salour in Jindires sub-district. Hamid was arrested while attempting to register his motorcycle.
In a related development on the same day, the “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya” militia released two residents of Bulbul, Said Hassan Alo and his nephew Ali Khalil Alo, who had been detained in Azaz on October 8 while returning to Afrin after fleeing the conflict in Lebanon. Their release reportedly came after a ransom payment of $5,000.
