Our correspondent reported that the “Military Police” militia arrested, on Wednesday evening, September 18, the civilian “Mohammad Fadel Hussein – born in 1978” from the Arab community in the city of Afrin, from a house north of Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood clinic in the city, after he arrived from Lebanon about a week ago, without stating the reasons behind his arrest.

In addition, the “Border Guards” militia arrested, on Monday, September 16, each of “Moayad Al-Ali and Muhammad Al-Ali” from Nawa town in Daraa Governorate and “Hassan Al-Hayik” from the city of Aleppo, while they were trying to cross into the Turkish territory.

On the other hand, on 9/18/2024, the “Sultan Murad Division” militia released the citizen “Khabat Hussein” from the people of the town of Mobato/Ma’batli, after a detention that lasted 25 days, on the background of his demand to recover his house in the Al-Zaidiya neighborhood in the city of Afrin, which was seized by one of its members. Hussein was released after he paid a ransom of about 4 thousand US dollars, and forced to sign a six-month rental contract for the house in favor of that member.
