The Turkish-backed “Al-Hamza Division” led by the so-called “Saif Abu Bakr”, with the aim of controlling more Kurdish properties, informed the mukhtars of the villages of “Kafr Shila, Marata, Kondi Mazen, and Khalniriya” west of the city of Afrin and their residents, to impose a two-dollar tax on each olive tree for the upcoming season.
The Al-Hamza militia also cancelled the power of attorney agencies to hinder those managing the properties of their displaced relatives, aiming at seizing the properties.
