Our correspondent reports that Turkish forces targeted the village of Shawargha in the Sharan sub-district of Afrin with a drone yesterday evening, August 12th. Another drone strike hit the vicinity of the village of Ziwa in the Shahba region of northern Aleppo, while the extent of the damage from these attacks remains unclear.
In related news, Syrian regime forces heavily shelled the villages of Kafr Ta’al and Kafr Amma in western Aleppo, as well as Ma’arblit and Saraqeb in southern Idlib. The bombardment resulted in the deaths of two members of the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham organization and injured a third.
