Abdul Aziz Zakaria Khello from the village of Khalil in the Sheikh Hadid/Şiyê sub-district and Hamdoush Mohammad Hamdoush, were robbed at gunpoint by unidentified armed men.
According to our correspondent, the incident occurred near the outskirts of the city of Dana in Idlib province on Thursday morning as they were traveling from Afrin. The assailants, driving a white Hyundai CM with no license plate, blocked their path, forced them into agricultural land, and stole large sums of money in various currencies that they were carrying.
After the robbers left them, the victims went to the General Security Agency of the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) in Dana to file an official complaint about the robbery.
It is noted that Abdul Aziz Zakaria Khello owns a money exchange and transfer office at Newroz Roundabout in the center of occupied Afrin.
