Turkish Drone Attack and Shelling in Northern Syria

Our correspondent reports that Turkish forces targeted the road leading to Avrin Hospital in Al-Shahba region with a suicide drone on Thursday. The attack resulted in injuries to 38-year-old Hussein Horik Hussein, who sustained wounds to his hand while traveling on his motorcycle in the area.

In addition, Turkish forces stationed at the Thalthana base in the Mar’a countryside launched heavy artillery strikes on the villages of Sha’ala and Kharbat Sha’ala in the Shahba region of northern Aleppo. Simultaneously, the villages of Soghanak and Aqiba in the Sharan sub-district of Afrin’s northern Aleppo countryside were also targeted. Information on the extent of the damage is still unavailable.

On the other hand, the Syrian regime’s army targeted two civilian cars and a military site of the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham organization with three suicide drones on the Afs axis in the eastern Idlib countryside. The attack caused only material damage, with no reported human casualties. Meanwhile, a Syrian officer from Homs province was killed by sniper fire on the Jabal al-Zawiya front in southern Idlib.
