The “Military Police” militia arrested a citizen named “Manan Sido,” 57, from the village of “Amara” in the Mobata/Ma’batli sub-district, near the Shari’a School in Afrin city.
According to our correspondent, the arrest occurred after he filed a complaint to reclaim his home and shop, which have been occupied by a gunman from the “Sultan Murad Division” militia since 2018. Adding that Manan Sido had recently returned to Afrin from Lebanon.
In another incident yesterday, a gunman from the “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia sold a house belonging to “Mohammed Hassan” from the village of “Kafr Dala” in the Jindires sub-district. The house, located on the Villat Highway in Afrin city, was sold to an IDP for $2,500, treating the property as his own.
