SNA Militants Deployed to Turkey, Bound for Niger

afrinpost-Exclusive

This morning, approximately 240 fighters from the “Sultan Suleiman Shah Division” militia, also known as “al-Amshat,” were dispatched to the village of Hawar Kilis in the Azaz countryside. The deployment serves as a preliminary step for their transfer to Turkey via the Bab al-Salama crossing, escorted by vehicles belonging to Turkish intelligence.

Sources indicate that the fighters are expected to be transported overnight to the city of Kilis, Turkey, before being flown by military aircraft to Istanbul and subsequently to Niger.

Our correspondent reports that the militia confiscated the fighters’ personal phones, allowing them only one call to bid farewell to their families. Each fighter was provided with $900 prior to embarking on their mission to Niger.
