Our correspondent reports that IDPs working in a sewing workshop near Sheikh Bakr Mosque in the old city of Afrin assaulted Nidal Mohammed, a young man from the village of Sheikhorz in the Bulbul district. The incident, which occurred the evening before last, involved beating Nidal and smashing his phone, resulting in a head injury for the victim.
In a separate incident on the same evening, Rashid Ali, a young man from the village of Kura/Koran in the Jindires sub-district, was kidnapped after leaving his workplace in the town of Jindires. According to a local source, surveillance cameras belonging to the “Liberation and Construction Movement” showed that the abduction occurred near his village and was carried out by an armed group affiliated with the “Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement.”
