On Thursday, April 4th, Turkish forces launched artillery strikes on the villages of Shawargha, Mar’anaz, and Al-Malikiyah in the Shara district of rural Afrin. Additionally, they targeted the Menagh Military Airport in the Shahba region with multiple artillery shells, resulting in material damage to civilian property.
According to our correspondent in the area, Turkish reconnaissance aircraft were spotted in the vicinity prior to the bombardment.
In related developments, the villages of Khirbat Sha’ala and Sadd Al-Shahba in the Shahba region of northern rural Aleppo witnessed Turkish artillery shelling last night. Fortunately, no human casualties were reported, with damages confined to material losses.
