Turkish-backed Militias Cut Down More Trees in Afrin Countryside

According to our correspondent, armed individuals affiliated with Turkish-backed groups have cut down 45 olive trees and 8 cypress trees from the fields of Kurdish civilians in the occupied countryside of Afrin.

In detail, the militants cut down 30 olive trees on the outskirts of Afrin city near the Al-Mahmoudiya neighborhood, owned by Mr. Khalil Abu Ziyad from the village of Chaqala in Jindires district.

Additionally, militants belonging to the “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia group cut down 15 olive trees near the village of Tall Tawil, owned by Mr. Aref Ibrahim from the village of Khalnereh in the central district, along with 8 cypress trees surrounding his field.
