Pro-Turkey Militia Abducted Citizen in Occupied Afrin

Last night, March 19, unidentified assailants abducted Mr. Mohammed Ismail Mohammed (41 years old) from Arab community in Afrin. The incident occurred at his residence near Dersim Hospital, located at the Marateh junction. Mr. Mohammed, a proprietor of a mobile phone sales and repair shop in the occupied city of Afrin, was taken without apparent motive, according to our sources in the city.

This follows the recent arrest, on March 18, of two citizens from Arab community in Afrin, Mr. Mustafa Rashid and Mr. Abdou Al-Hussein ibn Ramadan. They were apprehended by Turkish authorities on charges related to their past associations with the Autonomous Administration and alleged involvement in the Newroz roundabout incident within Afrin city.
