Young Kurdish Woman, Among Three, Killed in Syrian Regime Rocket Attack

Yesterday, on January 1, the young woman “Yasmin Luay Issa” (17 years old), a resident of Kabashin village, joined the civilian casualties, raising the toll to three Kurdish civilians, along with citizens “Ziyad Al-Hasan” and “Diaa Al-Hasan” in the village of Burj Haydar.

This tragic incident resulted from the Syrian regime’s rocket attack using missile launchers on the villages of Kabashin, Burj Haydar, and Basufan in the Sherawa district of the occupied Afrin.

The death toll in the city of Darat Izza in western Aleppo countryside reached three people, with around 20 injured due to the Syrian regime’s bombardment of residential areas. The victims include “Imad Sabbagh,” “Abdul Nasser Hasan Daado,” and “Raqi Rajab.”

This intense shelling follows the targeting of residential areas in the cities of Nubl and Zahraa in northern Aleppo countryside by Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham. The exchange of rocket fire between the two parties resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including a child and a woman: “Sukaina Ali Sifo,” “Ruqiyya Osama Sifo,” and “Hilal Mohammed Sifo.”
