Car Bomb Explosion Targets Civil Police Member in Afrin

Our correspondent in Afrin reported that

a roadside bomb exploded on the morning of September 12th, targeting a vehicle belonging to a member of the Turkish-affiliated civil police militia, known as “Abu Ammar.” This incident occurred in Al-Zeydia neighborhood near the cemetery area in the occupied city of Afrin.

The member known as “Abu Ammar” serves as an aide to the Deputy Head of the Afrin Local Council, Mohammad Sheikh Rashid.

It’s worth noting that on September 2nd, four people were injured in a landmine explosion, remnants of war, near one of the camps for earthquake victims in al-Ashrafiya neighborhood. Two of the injured were IDPs, while the other two were native Afrin residents who happened to be passing by at the moment of the explosion.
