Afrin Liberation Forces have announced the killing of 15 militants and the injury of six others in a covert operation against one of the Turkish-backed SNA groups positions in the village of Ablah in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province.
In their statement released today, September 19th, they reported that their forces executed a “precise operation” on September 18th against one of the positions of Turkish-affiliated mercenaries in the village of Ablah, affiliated with the city of Al-Bab. This operation resulted in the killing of 15 mercenaries and the injury of six others.
The operation also led to the destruction of three fortified guard posts, three motorcycles, a vehicle, an ammunition depot, and the capture of 6 Kalashnikov rifles with 2 accompanying magazines, 12 Kalashnikov magazines, a BKS machine gun with a linked chain of rounds, a B_7 rifle, 4 hand grenades, a mobile phone, and military identification cards belonging to the mercenaries.
It was emphasized that these operations are in response to the “continuous attacks by the Turkish occupation army on all our regions.”
Our correspondent reported that intense clashes occurred after midnight on September 18th between Afrin Liberation Forces and the militia of the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, specifically the group known as “Abu Dijana al-Kurdi,” along the Ablah axis. This followed a surprise infiltration operation by Kurdish forces, supported by heavy artillery shelling on the militia’s positions in the village of Ablah.
Afrin Liberation Forces successfully breached the first defensive line of Ahrar al-Sham’s militia, infiltrated the positions of the so-called Abu Dijana al-Kurdi, and killed and injured several militants. Subsequently, they withdrew to their own positions with intensive covering fire. Loud explosions were heard in the Shahba region in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
