They were abducted by unknown armed assailants, who were driving a Hyundai Santa Fe vehicle, from their residence in Tellalin village. The abductors then transported them to the town of Meydanki, where they were mercilessly killed, and their lifeless bodies were discarded into Meydanki Lake. The motives behind this heinous act remain unknown.

It is worth noting that an incident involving the abduction and attempted murder of a 63-year-old woman named “Amina” from the city of Ma’arat al-Nu’man occurred on the evening of September 20th. A young man from the area kidnapped her with the intent of robbing her of her gold jewelry and money. However, the suspect’s vehicle ran out of fuel during the ordeal, allowing local residents to apprehend him and deliver him to the General Security apparatus in Idlib province.
