Yesterday, on July 25, due to the Turkish forces’ targeting of a Syrian regime military point in the village of Abbin, located in the Sherawa sub-district of Afrin countryside, First Lieutenant “Rabee Youssef Mahyoub” from Tartus Governorate was killed, succumbing to injuries sustained in the attack. The incident also resulted in two other soldiers being wounded.
In a related development, the Syrian Army bombarded positions of the “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” organization with heavy artillery and rocket launchers on the Atarib axis in the western countryside of Aleppo and the outskirts of the town of Flifel in Mount Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib. This comes amidst intense reconnaissance flights by Russian surveillance aircraft in the area.
