Russian warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes today, June 25th, targeting headquarters and military sites affiliated with the “Hayat Tahrir al-Sham” organization and the “Turkistan Party” in the countryside of Idlib. The airstrikes resulted in casualties and injuries.
The aerial bombardment struck a farm and a swimming pool belonging to the “Turkistan Party” with four airstrikes in the western countryside of Idlib. This led to the killing of several of its members as well as civilians, including children and women.
Russian warplanes also targeted Mount Arba’in in the Idlib countryside with two airstrikes, as well as the hills of al-Kabina in the Latakia countryside with two airstrikes. Additionally, an airstrike hit the town of Jisr al-Shughur and another struck the village of Binnin in the Idlib countryside.
Moreover, a popular vegetable market on the outskirts of Jisr al-Shughur in western Idlib was targeted, resulting in the death of four civilians and the serious injury of approximately 20 others. These incidents occurred amidst intensified Russian reconnaissance aircraft flying over the area.
