According to our correspondent in Afrin, the Turkish intelligence has arrested three individuals in the industrial area of the occupied city of Afrin on charges of performing compulsory military service during the previous Autonomous Administration in Afrin. However, a fourth individual was released after paying a fine.
On April 26th, the Turkish intelligence arrested a Kurdish citizen named “Akid,” as well as two Arab individuals, “Hussein Matar” (32 years old) and “Issa” (30 years old), both from the village of Tal Tawil.
Meanwhile, on April 25th, the intelligence authorities released a citizen named “Ahmed Rasoul” (34 years old) from the village of Çiya, located in the Rajo sub-district. He had been arrested about a week earlier on the same charges. However, he was required to pay a fine of $300 before being released by the Turkish authorities.
It should be noted that on April 18, 2023, afrinpost learned that the Turkish authorities had previously arrested a young citizen named “Mohammed Azaldin Ali” (31 years old) from the village of Miskê, in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood of the occupied city of Afrin. He was also charged with performing compulsory military service during the previous Autonomous Administration in Afrin.
