A large explosion occurred in the early hours of Saturday, 29 April, at a headquarters belonging to the “Jaish al-Sharqiya” militia in the town of Jindires, located in the outskirts of the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin. According to exclusive sources, the cause of the explosion and the extent of human casualties remain unknown.
The sources revealed that the explosion took place at the residence of a civilian named “Mohammed Korda,” which had been converted by the militia into a military headquarters. The villa is situated in the “Deşta Henara – Pomegranate Fields” area, along the road between the villages of Miskê and Sindiyanê.
The sources confirmed that the villa was completely destroyed by the mysterious explosion. The nature of the blast, whether it was caused by ammunition detonation or shelling, remains unclear. Particularly concerning is the fact that the militia has imposed a security cordon around the site and implemented a curfew for the residents of Miskê village, urging them not to leave their homes through WhatsApp messages.
