Turkish forces shell Al Shaala and Tal Madiq in northern countryside of Aleppo

The Turkish forces, stationed at the Thulthana base, located on the outskirts of the occupied city of Marea in the northern countryside of Aleppo, shelled last evening, January 14, the outskirts of the villages of Al-Shaala and Tal Madiq in the northern countryside of Aleppo with heavy artillery. No damage reported so far, according to our reporter there.

It is noteworthy that a soldier from the Turkish special units, called “Selçuk Kurt’a,” was killed as the Turkish military base in the village of Hazwan in the countryside of Al-Bab, east of Aleppo, was shelled on Friday, January 13, in addition to the serious injury of four other soldiers, who were subsequently transported by helicopters into the Turkish lands.

On Saturday, January 14, the Turkish forces escalated their artillery and missile shelling on the villages of Al-Hasiya, Al-Shaala, Harbel, Umm Al-Hosh farms, Sheikh Issa, the vicinity of Tal Refaat, Al-Bailounia, Ain Daqna, Maraanaz, Deir Jamal, Meng, Binah, Soghonaka, and Harsha in Sherawa district and Al-Shahba area.
