Turkish forces arrest two persons in Afrin, and third in Istanbul, Turkey

A joint patrol of Turkish intelligence and the military police militia in Afrin arrested two persons in Jindires on charges of performing compulsory military service and cooperating with the former Autonomous Administration in the occupied Afrin region, while a citizen was arrested in Istanbul, about a week ago, without clear reasons.

Our reporter stated that the joint patrol of the Turkish authorities arrested, on January 18, 2023, the citizen “Muhammad Rashid Hesso” (30 years old) on charges of performing compulsory service, while they arrested the citizen “Farman Saado” (29 years old) on charges of formerly working in an Autonomous Administration institution.

Noting that the two arrested citizens were residing in Istanbul, and the Turkish authorities forcibly deported them two months ago to northern Syria.

Our reporter added that the “Anti-Terrorism” forces of the Turkish authorities arrested, on January 17, 2023, the citizen “Muhammad Ismail Alou” (33 years old), from his workplace in the Esenyurt district of Istanbul, while no further details on his fate were reported.
