Turkish forces arrest three persons, among them a woman, in Syria’ Afrin

Our reporter in Afrin stated that the Turkish intelligence arrested the citizen “Farida Abdo Rasho” (55 years old) on Monday morning, January 9, from her home in the village of Shekhotka in Mobata district, on charges of working in the local council of the village (the commune) during the former Autonomous Administration role.

AnOn the other hand, the Military Police militia arrested the citizen “Ahmed Muhammad Hamid” (38 years old), from the village of Kafarziet in Jenderes district, on Monday afternoon, January 9, on charges of cooperating with the Autonomous Administration. Noting that the citizen “Ahmed” returned a short time ago from Kurdistan region (northern Iraq) to his village, Kafarziet.

On the other hand, the Political Security militia arrested the citizen “Assaad Hamid” (27 years old), also from the village of Kafarziet, on December 30, 2022, immediately after his return from the city of Aleppo. The reason for the arrest and his fate are still unknown until now.

Yesterday, Tuesday, afrinpost monitored the arrest of three Kurdish persons from the village of Kela in Bulbul district, by the Turkish intelligence on charges of joining the Kurdish protection units (YPG) in the occupied Afrin region.
