Turkish authorities arrest three persons in Syria’s Afrin

afrinpost – Exclusive

On January 7, the Turkish intelligence arrested the 26-year-old citizen, “Muhammad Abboud”, on charges of performing compulsory military service during the former Autonomous Administration.

Our reporter in Afrin explained that the Turkish intelligence arrested the “Muhammad Abboud” from his house located near the Jinderes Road Park in the old neighborhood of Afrin, on a false charge because the detainee did not join the conscription during the Autonomous Administration period.

The Turkish authorities also arrested the citizen “Jumaa Khalil Al-Husri” (37 years old), from the village of Burj Abdalu, last Friday, January 13, without clear reasons.

Private sources indicated to “afrinpost” that the Turkish authorities arrested the citizen “Juma” several days after he was forcibly deported from Turkey to Afrin, and took him to an unknown destination.

In the town of Raju, a joint patrol of the Turkish intelligence and the Raju police arrested the young woman “Maryam Mahram Billo” (19 years old) from the village of Qasim, on January 12, on charges of joining the school folklore band during the Autonomous Administration, knowing that at that time she was just a child.

Billo was released the next day on bail, with the follow-up of her submission to the judiciary before the Turkish court in the city of Afrin.
