Syrian regime army targeted Turkish military base near Bab al-Salama crossing

The Syrian regime army shelled, last evening, January 20, the Turkish military base near the Bab al-Salama crossing in the countryside of Azaz, north of Aleppo, with heavy artillery and rocket launchers, a number of which fell within Turkish territory, the damage was limited to material, without recording human losses.

The shelling came in response to the Turkish forces targeting the villages of Al-Shawarga, Al-Malikiyah, and Tanab in the Sharan district, and the village of Beneh / Abbin in the Sherawa district in the occupied countryside of Afrin, and the vicinity of the Menagh military airport, with heavy artillery. No damage reported so far.

The Turkish forces also shelled, yesterday, the surroundings of the villages of Al-Shahba Dam, Tal Madiq and Samouqa in the Al-Shahbaa area in the northern countryside of Aleppo, with heavy artillery, the damage was limited to material only.

The Syrian regime’s army shelled, yesterday morning, the military police station in the southern neighborhood of the city of Azaz, which led to the injury of five members of the military police, including a female member, namely: Fouad Hamdi Mahmoud, Muhammad Nour Faisal, Louay Muhammad Merimini, Thuraya Haj Hussein and Mahmoud Al-Ajili
